How is verse 6 laid put in a Torah scroll? In BHS Reader’s Edition, בָּֽאָדָ֖ם דָּמ֣וֹ יִשָּׁפֵ֑ךְ is on the left margin and ‎ שֹׁפֵךְ֙ דַּ֣ם הָֽאָדָ֔ם is on the right, with a nice separation between. This helps set off and emphasize this remarkable set of words, and visually sets up the mirrored nature of the first part of the verse. Sefaria, and my other Hebrew Bibles run verse 6 as though it were any other sentence. It looks like the Leningrad Codex also runs the verse as a continuous unit, with no additional spaces. https://mechanical-translation.org/codeximages/image009.jpg

Thank you, this has been a very interesting discussion.
